Trade and Economic Promotional Roadshows by Interested Entities (e.g. Chambers of Industries, Export Promotion Councils)


Requests for promotional roadshows (which can be either seminars, B2Bs, virtual expos etc) may be made by interested entities which can be either from India or from any of the countries of Embassy’s concurrent accreditation (viz. Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau and Cabo Verde). Towards this, Interested Entities must:

1.       Write to Embassy of India in Dakar (at,  a self-contained proposal (as soft text) by email giving following specifics:

a.       Gist of the idea

b.       suggested date/s for the roadshow {e.g. ESC expressed interest to organize a B2B in June 2021}

c.        List / profile of interested industry members from their side who would be keen to participate.

d.       {Note: The above list would be sharpened based on:

                                                   i.      Registrations for the preparatory webinar (typical details including webinar registration link in respect of ESC proposed roadshow may be seen here)

                                                 ii.      Sign-ups and business leads added on Embassy website (reference: )

1.       To confirm concrete interest, Interested Entity must promote participation of their members in the preparatory webinar.

2.       Needless to mention, preparatory webinar is organized by the Embassy of India in Dakar.

3.       Main agenda would be to generate, collate and assess level of interest from among the industry from the initiating side in the event}.

2.       Agree to date adjustment in respect of the preparatory webinar, preferably if the number of companies showing interest from the Initiating Side is yet inadequate, to provide more time for requisite booster promotion by the Initiating Side.

a.       Assessment of availability of critical mass of companies from Initiating Side would be made 10 days before the preparatory webinar and appropriate adjustments made (e.g. ESC preparatory webinar was floated by the Embassy for 27 May and then postponed to 7 June to allow adequate time for substantive registrations / sign-ups from ESC members.)

3.       Make keynote presentation during the preparatory webinar.

4.       Convene the main roadshow as proposed by them (e.g. ESC wishes to convene a B2B in June 2021).

5.       Organize the roadshow event.
