1.       As a result of declaration of COVID-19 as pandemic, there are special overriding rules / advisories for travel etc; all may kindly study them at https://asp.embassyofindiadakar.gov.in/eoia/aWn_list.asp?s_keyword=covid and at the various links included there in.

2.       The procedure in respect of various applications described below would have to be thus read in conjunction with general restrictions placed on travel / visa etc as at https://asp.embassyofindiadakar.gov.in/eoia/aWn_list.asp?s_keyword=covid

3.       Further, in view of the fast evolving Covid19 sceario, declaration of emergency in Senegal and as abundant precaution,

a.       all CPV (Consular, Passport and Visa) services at the Embassy are suspended till further notice.

b.       all earlier correspondence from the Embassy (from Mr Khanna, giving to some appointment dates at the Embassy) stand cancelled.

c.        only emergency cases would be entertained and subject to explicit reconfirmation; those in need of this need to send self-explanatory full justification particularly explaining as to  why the service that they seek can not wait and what is the deadline by when they need these services. This must be sent to cons.dakar@mea.gov.in with a copy to amb.dakar@mea.gov.in Please do wait thereafter for explicit response from our side before heading for the Embassy.

eVisa (=online visa)

 

1.       The evisa is applied online through internet, paid through internet and it is received on applicant's email.
eVisa processing takes three working days and all must apply in time

2.       All details including online application form as are given at: www.indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/

3.       Those unable to apply for eVisa and thus in need of paper visa (ie. visa issued by the Embassy and affixed on the passport), may first email their self-contained request to cons.dakar@mea.gov.in and to amb.dakar@mea.gov.in to enable Embassy process the request and respond.
